Getting in Shape

Hark, is that a bird I hear twittering in yonder tree?
Don't know about where you are, but things are looking distinctly Springlike from where I'm sitting. This means two things:
First, I have to pay some attention to the garden which I've happily ignored for the last four months - why does nothing kill nettles and brambles, by the way? And second, I have to drag my sorry behind out of this computer chair and make some token effort at getting into a fit shape. Since taking a foot off the bathroom scales doesn't fool even me that means I have to devote more of my time to physical activity. So this blog will have to drop down the list of priorities, but I'll check in every so often during March to give you all an update on my progress.

I feel the same! I'm just waiting for the weather to get better... no sign yet.

(Hehe, the comic made me chuckle.)

PPFFFFF ! You have neglected your garden for only four months ? Feels like 12 since I was doing mine but of course it's really less than that ;)
My next door neighbour (who is a lot older than me) has been tidying up in her garden for weeks now and puts me to shame. Now I just need to persuade her to do a bit of mine over the next few days ...
Good luck with the fitness lark. Maybe you should wait till the Spring equinox ?

Don't know why you've posted twice, Lex! I could do with some of your neighbour's zip. I'm very much a fair weather gardener and with our weather that means about three days in the year!

After a day scoffing chocolate, I can only agree too!

I don't have a garden, I have a desert. When it finally rains, I might go out and do some work, but if I'm relying on gardening to get fit, it might be a while!

Good luck with your goal, Sandra!
